(December 19, 2006 - Wilkes-Barre, PA) Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services is pleased to announce Albert Guari has been named Vice President of Brokerage. In this role, Guari will oversee all activities of the region’s largest commercial and industrial real estate brokerage company including 16 licensed real estate agents and offices in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania.

In his last two positions, Guari worked as a Commercial Banking Officer / Vice President, where he structured business loans and contributed to the growth of commercial loan portfolios, while establishing and procuring deposit and credit relationships with local businesses.

Guari earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Scranton, where he worked as Manager and Business Consultant for the Small Business Development Center. At the University of Scranton he continues to teach part-time as a Real Estate Instructor for the Center for Professional Training and Development. He was also employed with the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce as a Small Business Development Specialist, where he worked on the establishment of the MetroAction Microloan Program. Also in that position, Guari honed his skills in economic development through projects in the Scranton Central Business District.

In addition to his work experience, Guari volunteers his time to the Jessup Youth Sports Association and the Valley View Bulldogs.  He twice chaired the CityPride project for Scranton Tomorrow and continues to remain active on committees at the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce. Guari resides in Jessup with his wife and two daughters.
