Meet Sara
Sara Mangold has joined the Mericle team as an intern in the brokerage department.
A graduate of Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, Sara is a marketing major with minors in business administration and entrepreneurship at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre. She is a member of the Mu Kappa Tau and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies and enjoys her digital marketing and strategic marketing classes.
An email from King’s about the opportunity in Mericle’s brokerage department grabbed Sara’s attention. She was familiar with Mericle and was very interested in working for a company that is so well-known in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Though Sara is not required to participate in an internship to obtain her degree, she has a strong desire to gain more marketing experience before graduation. “Marketing has so many pieces,” she said. “I want to narrow my focus and get a better idea of what specialties I enjoy in the field.”
So far, she has been busy researching different industries, becoming familiar with real estate, finding potential spaces for clients, and completing investment portfolios.
Sara appreciates the opportunity to work in an office setting while still in college. She believes her internship has expanded her communication and time management skills.
After graduation, Sara sees herself working on a marketing team and she hopes to someday lead her own marketing company.
In her free time, Sara enjoys reading and working out. She also works as an assistant manager at Maurice’s, a retail store, where she uses her marketing knowledge to help with promotions, signage, and floor sets.
