Steve is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the
company, as well as for listing and selling commercial and industrial
real estate.
Steve was the past President/CEO of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of
Business and Industry and previously served as Executive Director of
the Allegheny County Industrial Development Authority. Throughout his
career, he assisted hundreds of businesses in Northeastern and
Southwestern Pennsylvania. His efforts included marketing, property
disposition and acquisitions, public-private development and finance.
In his previous positions, Steve developed adoptive re-use projects
like converting steel mills to multiple-tenant mixed uses and
department stores into mixed use office and retail. He led the
development efforts to create over 5,000 acres into suburban industrial
parks. Steve also chaired the Luzerne County Convention Center
Authority that built an 8,600 seat arena and secured a professional
hockey franchise. He developed an “urban life style center” involving a
fourteen screen theater, loft apartments and commercial space in
downtown Wilkes-Barre.
Steve received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University
of Pittsburgh. He serves on the Board of the Northeastern Pennsylvania
Alliance, 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, the United Way, Children’s
Service Center and the Luzerne/Schuylkill Counties Workforce Investment
Board. He is the past Chairman of the Pennsylvania Economic Development
Association.
Steve and Ellen, his wife of 33 years, reside in Wilkes-Barre. They
raised three sons and are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren.
