Congratulations to our tenant Geisinger Health System, which formally opened its cutting edge Precision Health Center during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 20th. The 14,000 square foot, $562,000 facility in Mericle’s Cross Valley West Professional Center in Forty Fort will be home to highly specialized teams from Geisinger’s Clinical Genomics and Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI) and will serve as the primary location for Geisinger Research in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Tucker Rocky/Biker’s Choice Expands Local Distribution Operation, Will Create Jobs

As part of an ongoing iniative to increase its service committment to Powersports dealers and consumers, Tucker Rocky/Biker’s Choice is nearly doubling the size of its Pennsylvania distribution center and equipping it with a high-density pick module for faster order fulfillment. The company will provide next day ground delivery of motorcycle and ATV/UTV aftermarket parts, accessories, and apparel from a new distribution center in Lackawanna County. Mericle Tenants and Employees rally for USMC Toys for Tots

More than 60 people were on hand on December 9th at the United States Marine Corps Reserve’s (USMC) Toys for Tots warehouse, 163 CenterPoint Boulevard, CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park East, Jenkins Township, to present the USMC with donated toys and books. Those attending included employees of Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services and representatives from Mericle tenants throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.

For 17 years, Mericle has donated storage space to the USMC providing the logistics needed to collect, prepare, and distribute toys to area children during the holiday season. Continue reading…


Mericle’s Namutka Brokers 100-Job Office Lease at Schuylkill Mall

TruBridge, a Mobile, Alabama based company that provides business, consulting, and IT services, has leased 12,394 square feet within the Schuylkill Mall, in Frackville, Pennsylvania. The former retail space is being converted to offices so that TruBridge can provide support to several healthcare clients.

The project was announced by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett who said TruBridge plans to invest more than $270,000 at the new site and anticipates creating more than 100 jobs over the next three years.  Continue reading…

Greiner Packaging Opens First U.S. Plant in Mericle Building

More than 130 dignitaries were on hand on October 29 to help executives from Greiner Packaging open its first U.S. manufacturing plant in a Mericle building at 225 Enterprise Way in CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park West in Pittston Township, Pennsylvania.

The company plans to hire 128 workers over the next three years at the plant, which makes premium plastic packaging for the dairy and food industries. Continue reading…


Mericle Acquires 29 Acres in East Mountain Corporate Center

Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services has purchased 29 acres in the East Mountain Corporate Center, Plains Township from The Greater Wilkes-Barre Development Corporation. Mericle will combine the newly acquired land with adjacent land it already owns as part of its overall development strategy for the corporate center.

Mericle Revitalizes Former Pittston Pool Property

Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services has donated labor, equipment and materials and converted the site of the former City of Pittston pool into a property that is now viable for development.

The city plans to market the property for sale in hopes of finding a developer that will put the property back on the tax rolls.

Michael Lombardo, vice chair of the city’s Redevelopment Authority and former Pittston mayor, had contacted Mericle and asked for its help with the project. Continue reading…
