Daniel J. WalshDan joined Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services in 2004. As Vice President, Corporate Services, he specializes in real estate sales and leasing, land use analysis and acquisition, financial incentive facilitation and site selection. He has more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience and has worked on projects as diverse as site selection for national retailers, industrial land sales, and medical/laboratory leasing. His recent projects include leasing a 173,320 square foot hardware distribution facility, a 144,000 square foot bakery distribution build-to-suit and the sale of a 120,000 square foot building to a defense contractor.
Prior to working with Mericle, Dan was employed by the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce where he served as Administrator of The Scranton Plan, a national award winning economic development agency. He played an active role in recruiting several major employers to Northeastern Pennsylvania including Mazda Motor Parts, CIGNA HealthCare, Wells Cargo and Cintas, resulting in the creation of more than 2,000 jobs.
Dan is a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.
