KOZ tax savingsMericle's available properties in Humboldt are located in Keystone Opportunity Zones (KOZs). When a building is located in a KOZ, it translates into very substantial tax-savings. Eligible companies that locate in such buildings have practically all of their state and local taxes completely abated through the end date of the zone. In Humboldt, Mericle's buildings at 1104 North Park Drive and 61 Green Mountain Road, as well as the build-to-suit site at 560 Oak Ridge Road, provide tax abatements through 2017, while its build-to-suit site at 660 Oak Ridge Road provides benefits through 2019.
